Alison Charlton is an expert podiatrist who qualified in 1984 after spending three years at the Durham School of Podiatry.
Her studies continued with post-graduate education at both Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne universities, whilst practising as a specialist podiatrist in the NHS, with stroke victims.
Here, her work focused on the complications of the altered mechanics of walking, alongside high risk wound care.
Alison has worked extensively in the private sector utilising her wide range of skills and experience. She is a member of the College of Podiatry and Health and Care Professions Council. (HCPC CH08664)
Problems Afoot Podiatry started in March 2018 after a family move to Oxfordshire.
